What is MC MR M+ M- in calculator?

** M+ = Add to memory (i.e. Memory Add takes the number on the display, adds it to the memory, and puts the result into memory)

** M- = Subtract from memory

** MC = Memory Clear (clear stored value); Memory Clear sets the memory to 0
MRC = Memory Re-Call (recall stored value)

** MR = Memory Recall uses the number in memory, acts as if you had keyed in that number yourself (Memory Re-Call to recall stored value)

M+ (i.e. M=M+D)
M- (i.e. M=M-D)
MRC (D=M, if pressed once; M=0, if pressed twice)

For example:
You are starting with 100, type in 100 and hit M+.
Now when you press MR, 100 will be appeared.

To add 50, when 50 is displayed on the screen, hit M+.
Now when you press MR, 150 will appear.

To subtract 60, when 60 is displayed on the screen, hit M-.

English-based bilingual education system

Ways To Keep Singapore Clean

1. Launch Keep Singapore Clean campaign consistently to create awareness and educate the public.

It has to be enforced persistently (持之以恒) for the good core values (价值观).
In doing so, the people staying here including the foreign workers will be influenced and change to a better way due to the 潜移默化 affect.

2. Convert street sweepers or street cleaners (街头清洁工人) to be civil servants.

This will surely attract the local people to join the workforce because of the iron rice bowl even though the salary might not be too high.
On the other hand, it is not very wise to employ India foreign workers (外劳) to be street cleaners as their hygiene lifestyle are much lower compared with other races.

3. Inspect the cleanliness standard regularly and improve it.

Singapore Cleanliness

Singapore is no longer a clean city to stay.
Keep Singapore Clean campaigns was launched many years ago after independence leading to spotless streets, but standards have dipped in recent years.

Singapore is getting dirtier and is becoming a "Litter Red Dot". I was embarrassed to take my foreign friends to visit places where we can see rubbish thrown everywhere.

Keep Clean, Singapore!
